Hello everyone! I wonder how you're all doing tonight. I haven't post anything that much as before lately, but I'm doing okay. As I always said before, I'm not going to post much videos on the blog unless I stumble music or art and beauty. I could write some movie reviews as well. There's going to be more illustrations or photographs from the artists I've found. From now on, I'm going to share more positive items on the blog. I'm going to post some cool stuff too. I'm going to write book reviews too. Reading is fun. I want to read more books. And I'm going to share the picture I drew to everyone when I get a chance. Children's Literature

I know it's 1:14 a.m right now. It is quite late too. However, I would like to say something so special on this entry. When I was in Children's Literature class in community college, I learned about what's fairy tales are all about. About a lot of the stories in the textbook were very deep, nicely written, and have interesting characters. Not only the stories are good, but there are messages as well. The authors offered advices to the readers, so that nobody will be in danger. When I read the stories, I also learned about the languages; some of the stories can be difficult for readers to read. The best part of the class was I read the second book for The Chronicles of Narnia. The second book is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. When I read that book, I got into the series. Even everyone knew about the series, I'm not going to give away the story. When I was assigned to answer the questions on my homework, that was very interesting. I learned about the morals as well. There was a critical review essay for the full-length children's book(chapter book). The book I wrote for the essay was Strawberry Girl. I wrote about how strong the book was, how real the event was, and how well developed characters were. Conflict and theme were included. Before I finished the essay, I had a lot of thoughts about why everyone should read Strawberry Girl as this is about the simple girl living in the farm in Florida. After critical review, I did the picture book as a final project of the class. The picture book I wrote and drew was Rockman: The Heroic Rescue. It's about Rockman is trying to save a human girl from Dr. Wily. If everyone are going to take Children's Literature class, this may encourage them to read books. This include their children as well. If I haven't taken the class, I wouldn't have read anything at all. I wouldn't have read Narnia either.

Satoshi Kon

Satoshi Kon was an excellent Japanese anime director. His styles are so amazing. When I watched any of his TV and movies, I was blown away. Perfect Blue was the first movie I saw. That was his debut. Perfect Blue was very successful, but Millennium Actress was a wonderful movie. Paranoia Agent was an excellent TV show in Japan. The last movie that I saw was Paprika. The animation for the movie was quite amazing. Neither of the other anime shows today are anything like Mr. Kon's work. Satoshi Kon passed away with a cancer last night and he'll be missed. Before he passed away, he was working on his new movie Dream Machine. However, it is very uncertain if the movie is going to happen or not. Satoshi Kon, you are a great anime director. You really have a lot of great ideas for the movies. Rest in peace...

Summer isn't bad so far. I drew few pictures which I'm going to show you very soon. The last two movies I saw are Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and the Expendables. Scott Pilgrim is a very fun movie. The movie soundtrack is wonderful as the music was done by Beck. The Expendables is quite alright, but the actions are pretty good. Most of everyone's favorite actors are in the movie. I'm still reading Strange Case of Mr. Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Stories. The book is quite dark, but very classic. Even the other stories are interesting. It's very entertaining too.

This is not the very best summer I'm having. I'm also still very sick. However, at least I had some fun. I had a very good time in Canada two weeks ago. Inception is an excellent movie. If anybody wants to watch a very good movie this summer, I recommend you to watch Inception. Well, this weekend should be fun as August is coming up very soon. I really do love listening to music. I also like playing videogames. I want to be happy again. However, there are a lot of things I want to learn. The more I'll learn, the less of anything I'll be missing out. I'll be ready very soon... I'll still be posting more entries though. Only something more interesting than videos. But, I'll still post music. Before I go, there's a beautiful song below:

Hello everybody! How you're all doing tonight? I'm not feeling all that better, but I'm not going to give up as I said to everyone before. I'm only seeing better days though. Yeah. I know. I'm posting another video, but I'll try not to send a lot of them on the next blog entry. It's because this episode of Arthur kind of get me through the day. Dr. Fugue is a very strict piano teacher, but I kinda like him. Besides, this episode does involve a little bit of music.

They are the nice and also responsible people I known. I went to the Casino in Niagara Fall. That was really fun. Until August comes I'll relax at home for a while. Once this is over. Predators

Predators was directed by Nimród Antal and also produced by Robert Rodriguez. The third movie of the Predator series is about the creatures abducting armed and dangerous people on their planet in order to hunt them down. The casting are great. The pacing is nicely. Even the action and the special effects are quite enjoyable. For the people who watched the first Predator will be quite pleased.

5:55 is a very quiet album. However, there some upbeat trackers. Charlotte Gainsbourg is French singer, but she sang most of her songs in English. You can even listen to her very soft voice through you ears. About all the tracks are piano. The hit song The Songs That We Sing and the bonus track Set Yourself On Fire sounds like 1960s to 1970s music, which these songs are very cool. Her lyrics are great. The album is so soft and soothing. This is timeless.

Charlotte Gainsbourg went from quiet to more upbeat music. IRM was produced by Beck. The type of music were done with guitars and more drums as 5:55. Charlotte sang few tracks of the album in French. Beck sang along with her in most songs. IRM is another good record this year. The style is quite interesting as well. There might be some changes for Charlotte's next record in the future.

Women and Country

Here's Jakob Dylan's second solo album. Women and Country music styles are done with more beats and trumpets this time around. For the people who like The Wallflowers might enjoy this record as well. Women and Country deals with difficulties in the world of history like Everybody's Hurting. Seeing Things is still a wonderful acoustic solo record. Women and Country also have a lot great sounds of drums and trumpets. Jakob is an excellent song writer too. For those who listens to Seeing Things so much, pick his second solo album pick up as well.

There aren't many alternative rock and roll music in the 1960s to 1980s until The Cure formed the band. They were famous and received many attentions as well. When Disintegration came along, The Cure were very successful. Even the band were known as one of the first successful alternative rock music. Disintegration has a wonderful yet gloomy tracks. The lyrics are very good. The sounds and music the band played are very good. The frontman Robert Smith has a nice singing voice. Disintegration is a timeless record.

Before I go on vacation next week, I have few more entries to post. I don't say anything like that very much on any blogs, but I had a very rough weeks lately. It's too hot out as well, but I had very tough weekends. However, everything will be fine. On the positive notes, I read a book. I watched few movies. I also ate ice cream. I drank avocado shake, which I didn't have in three years.

The last novel I read was In a Glass Darkly by Janet Caird. In a Glass Darkly is about a detective young woman named Margaret solving mysteries in a haunted hotel and then the museum. I'm not so sure how many people read the book, but I really like the story. The characters are so interesting.

I watched two Predator movies a week ago. The first movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger is very cool and very entertaining too. The special effect is good. Predator 2 is alright, but it didn't live up as the first one. The third movie Predators is coming up and I'm looking forward to that.

The Last Airbender is a bit better than I thought it would be. However, I watched the animated series over the live action movie.

Well, I'll feel better soon enough. I'll draw some more pictures soon. I'm looking forward to what I'm going to eat for breakfast tomorrow. Have a very nice day everyone.

Chrono Trigger is the awesome RPG videogame I ever played. The story is quite strong. Even the characters are likable as well. The gameplay is the best part of the game too. I like to mention that the soundtrack for Chrono Trigger is so amazing. It's fantastic for Super Nintendo. There was a sequel to Chrono Trigger for the first Playstation system, Chrono Cross. The game is pretty good, but many people including Chrono Trigger fans did not find that game fun at all. Before Chrono Cross came out, Chrono Trigger was re-released for Playstation 1. The changes for this is the anime FMV. Chrono Trigger was re-released for the Nintendo DS last year. There were some changes in the game for that system too. Chrono Trigger will always be the unforgettable videogame everyone ever played...

Strawberry Girl

A little girl Birdie Boyer moved to Florida with her family to start a new life. They are willing to plant and then raised strawberries in their new farm. Once the strawberries are done, the Boyer family will sell them to make more money. However, the snobbish and also the selfish neighbor are living next door. The Boyers wants to befriend with them, but the Slaters family are not in a very good terms with them, so they want to make trouble for them by ruining their farm. Strawberry Girl is a very well-written book and some of the chapters have very sweet moments. The story is all about character developments; this shows the reader how to survive with the problematic neighbor. The characters are learning to stand up for themselves. This is a wonderful book for those who are reading young adult books for the first time. 5/5

Grey Matters

A sequel to Shades of Grey. Grey Matters mainly focuses on the heroine Dulcie Schwartz's everyday problems; she needs to revise her novel and then show it to the editor. Her boyfriend is worried about her and Dulcie has a relationship problems with her mother. All she ever does is she wants to her a voice again. Well, there are most people can relate to Dulcie when they are in trouble. Even a lot of authors have hard times when it comes to writing novels. Grey Matters is a fine sequel. As I mentioned about Shades of Grey before; the characters are excellent, but I must mention that they are quite realistic too. However, you can learn a lot from Grey Matters as you read ahead. Ms. Simon did revise her writing carefully. The language of the book is very understandable as well. What Ms. Simon wrote is fantastic. There are no other novels like this. This is one of the strong mystery novels. 5/5

The Wallflowers

When The Wallflowers' very first album came out eighteen years ago, their album got pretty good reviews. They didn't receive much attention, but people consider that their music are a lot different than friendly typical pop songs on the radio. The music for The Wallflowers focuses on alternative rock. Here comes their second Bringing Down The Horse; they were on mainstream success in 1996. The Wallflowers released four hit songs including One Headlight. Their musical style sounds more like rock and roll as their first album. The Wallflowers released another song for Godzilla music album Heroes in 1998. This is one of the song covers by David Bowie. Four years after Bringing Down the Horse, (Breach) came out. (Breach) is much more mature than their previous works. The songs are quite well written. Most of the tracks are very emotional. When you are going to listen to the entire album, don't forget the bonus track on the last song! Unlike their second album, (Breach) didn't get much attention. Red Letter Days was released two years later. The album is quite good. Most of their tracks are catchy and some of the songs are also a bit darker. The Wallflowers' last album Rebel, Sweetheart came out three years later after Red Letter Days. Rebel, Sweetheart received a little more attention as Red Letter Days. You may learn a lot from this album because most of the songs are very positive. Listening to The Beautiful Side of Somewhere would make you smile. The Wallflowers are the very hard working band. They put pieces together quite well. Jakob Dylan took a lot of effort of playing his guitar and wrote all the songs for all the albums as well. He has a wonderful singing voice, which he still does today. Two of his solo albums are very good. His other band members are currently working with other people with their music as well. The Wallflowers are very catchy and the lyrics are wonderful if everyone want to try out something different than current typical pop songs. This band have many good styles.

The weather is quite dreary today. I've watched My Sister's Keeper and The Lookout recently. Both of these movies are worth watching. My Sister's Keeper is a sweet yet a heartbreaking film. However, I wonder how the book was. The pacing for The Lookout is quite well done. Even the filming is very nice as well. The book I'm reading right now is Grey Matters by Clea Simon. Even the sequel to Shades of Grey is wonderful. I just redrew one of the pictures I showed you. I'll put that on the entry when I have a chance. Look at the picture below. I saw one of these in the museum. It's very beautiful isn't it? I don't know who drew this, but it seems like the artist did the oil painting so carefully. Squint your eyes carefully and then look at the pattern at the background. Don't forget to look at the contrast of the picture. All I can say is teatime must be the enjoyable moment.

I drew when I was a little girl. However, I gave up on that since I was a 6th grader. I didn't do anything about them until I attended the art course in community college. Mega Man is my favorite video game series since I was a little girl. I played the games because the boy in blue is so cool. Most of the bosses known as Robot Masters are so interesting, but a lot of them are so goofy and silly looking as well. When you play the game, you fight the enemies and jump many platform as well. Unlike typical videogames back then, you get select which bosses you get to fight and that led you to play through one of their stages. And you must fight those common enemies. As well as mid bosses, which can be hassles sometimes. Whether anyone play the game or not, I don't want to give it away about what you're going to do after you fight all the 6-8 bosses of Mega Man series. There's not so much story of the series, but playing the game is fun. The classic Mega Man has caught my eye, which I played the series all the time. However, Mega Man X has received my attention even more. Mega Man X games is different from classic Mega Man because the story takes place in the darker future timeline. Like the classic one, Mega Man X doesn't have much of the storyline. I also played Mega Man Legends. The story is in a different universe. What's so good about Mega Man Legends is the plot is much stronger than the classic Mega Man and Mega Man X series. There are other Mega Man series and I care less about them.

Even most independent movies are great. A full length movie Mystery Team from Derrick Comedy is one of them. The plot of the movie is the three young detectives were famous for solving cases when they were seven years old. Now at 17, they are still on their case in their high school senior year. Enter Jason, Duncan, and Charlie; the people in their neighborhood barely knew their name. So, Jason and his two best friends must prove everyone that they are the real detectives. Mystery Team is one of the funniest movie I ever saw. The humors worked so well in the movie. There are many good moments as well. Even the actors did a very good job. It's the independent movie, but I recommend this movie to everyone if they can get used to grossed out comedy. 5/5

I've been reading few mystery books for years. Shades of Grey is a very good one. The lead character Dulcie Schwartz have a lot of things to deal with in the story. She has a very hard job and also living with her obnoxious roommate Tim Worthington. What's worse is her poor cat passed away. Another worse case scenario is her roommate has been stabbed to death when she came back home. After witnessing that, it's up to Dulcie to find out what's behind the murder of Tim at any cost. I really enjoyed reading Shades of Grey. The book is well written. While you're into this very strong story, it's like you're solving the mystery as well. Dulcie is a very strong-willed heroine. Most of the characters are likable as well, especially the mysterious voice. What Clea Simon came up with the book is very original. Every time readers get into the story, she is making everybody think. Shades of Grey does have everyday life problems, but there is one biggest case to worry about. I'm looking forward reading the sequel Grey Matters. Keep up the good work Ms Simon. 5/5

I watched the Oscars last night. The special award show was pretty good, only if they have a musical performance. Hurt Locker won the best picture. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are both awesome hosts. However, only if the award show skip out the dancing moment. Come to think of it, District 9 have a much stronger storyline as Avatar. Don't me wrong though; Avatar is still a good movie, but District 9 was well-written and also have a lot good ways of filming the movie. This is the strongest science fiction film I ever watched. I watched Tron on Saturday. Overall, I really like the movie. The special effects are so cool. Jeff Bridges is a very good actor. I finally got to listen to the entire Colleen's three albums. Her albums are so beautiful. Colleen's third album is good, but her first two of them are much stronger. The Oscars was worth watching. I hope it'll be better next year and the show better bring back music performances. I'm looking forward to Tron Legacy by the end of the year.

Good afternoon. Well, it's March. Even the weather is quite nice today. I'm feeling a little better, but I must do my very best not to give up. Everyone needs to go through hardship. I'm currently reading Shades of Grey by Clea Simon. The novel is getting good. I'm listening to few music. As I listened to some of French musician Colleen's music, she did the lovely sounds of instrumental. Her music is so beautiful and it is like art. I'm listening to some of The Cure and most of their songs are good. The band made a good use of heavy metal. I hope everyone will have a good Monday.

I posted a lot of videos on this blog this month. That's all I ever did on February. So, I'll write about what's going on lately. My last three days of vacation from work was not that great because I was very sick since Friday. However, I tried out one of the Hot Cross Buns from Panera Bread yesterday. It was so delicious. This sweet egg bread was made with raisins, orange zest, and there's also a sweet icing cross on top of the bread. Be sure to check out Panera Bread because this is a very good cafe to stop for coffees, lattes, tea or any sort of drinks. There are a lot of fresh bakeries and fresh special breads as well. However, don't forget; the hot cross buns are limited time. So, these sweet and delicious breads are on sale until March 28th. After that, these will be back again on April 1st - April 4th.

I'm so fond of rabbits. It's mostly because they are so adorable. All I knew is rabbits eat carrots and many different kinds of vegetables. I really want to keep any of them, but they are so hard to catch. The other thing is I have to be very careful with the rabbits and I have to take full responsibilities. So that would not be possible to have a rabbit as a pet. Rabbits are nice to look at. I have three cats at home, which really makes me happy.

I'm sure I'll feel better soon enough. Perhaps, I'll post something exciting next month. I hope everyone will have a nice week.

Children got their candies from around the neighborhood. Teenagers threw eggs everywhere. People likes to party. Everyone enjoyed their fun on Halloween in October. However, the anything can be dangerous unless you know how to take care of yourself. Trick r Treat broke into four stories. Whether you heard about the movie or not, I won't tell you what the stories are because you must see this movie. All I can say about the stories are pretty much nicely written. The dialogue in the movie is so goofy, but I enjoyed it. I even thought the characters are so interesting. The way Trick r Treat filmed was fine made. Many may thought this movie is your typical horror movie, but I suggest everyone to check Trick r Treat out. Overall, I really enjoyed Trick r Treat. People may watch this on Halloween day. 4/5

2009 is coming to an end. Here's the positive things that happened to me this year.

Movies
I saw plenty of good movies.

Clockwork Orange is the craziest movie I ever saw this year, but it's enjoyable.

Coraline is a work of art and also I love the animation.

Watchmen is so amazing. Even some of the changes from the comic book are slightly necessary. The cast are the very good choice for the characters in the movie.

Blood Tea and Red String is unique. I want to see more of Christiane Cegavske's work.

Big Fan is a pretty funny movie, but it's kind of serious too. The movie is about Patton Oswalt being a big football fan and he also have many things to deal with. If you like Patton Oswalt, you will like this film too.

Best Worst Movie is a very fun to watch. The documentary talked about the most memorable moments in Troll 2. Even the cast members said that they were in worst movie ever.

Grace have somewhat of a disturbing atmosphere throughout a film, but quite enjoyable. It's about a mother wants to take care of her daughter no matter what. This movie is only for the strong heart.

Faust is a gruesome and disturbing Jan Svankmajer's movie, but I kind of like it. I must admit, I'm a bit of a sucker for surrealism. This movie is a work of art.

Let The Right One In is not like any vampire movies. The theme is so interesting and also very mature. I love this film.

9 doesn't have many storyline, but the special effects are great. This movie is based on one of the Animation Show shorts.

Saw VI is a very entertaining horror movie. The film is better than Saw V. The traps are a lot more explicit as well.

Where The Wild Things Are is so awesome and have a lot of changes from the book.

Avatar is another best movie I ever saw this year. It's so much better than I expected. However, the movie was sold out so quickly when it first came out.

TV Shows

Lost season five is pretty good. Everyone should begin watching the series if you haven't seen the show because I don't want to give it away.

Samurai Jack is the classic animated show. I re-watched the entire series. I love the art style. The character designs and the settings are like storybook. The action are so incredible. I can't wait for the movie in the future.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is the incredible animated series. The way the writers put stories in three seasons are pretty much well done. Even for those who haven't watch much anime, try this series.

Hey Arnold! is not like any Nickelodeon cartoon. Some of the situations are slightly explicit. To me, this is the only good Nickelodeon series I ever watched. The characters are unique too.

Books

Wintergirls is a very realistic and also disturbing book I ever read. I haven't read many books like this, but the storytelling is so strong. This was highly praised when it came out. Overall, this is a very good book to read. Even though it's a fictional novel, readers may learn a lesson from this.

The Chronicles of Narnia has always been my favorite series book since the last four years. I'm currently re-reading The Silver Chair.

Videogames

The Beatles: Rock Band finally came. I sang some of the songs and it was fun. However, it was challenging. I also tried out the guitar, but I need a lot of practice. The graphics for the game is fantastic. There are awesome extras. The game have great features too. I hope that there's going to be more Beatles album for this. On the other note, I have the game for PS3.

Mega Man X has came back to my mind. I still play the game. All I can say was it just happened.

Wild Arms is still a very good RPG game. I only listened to the soundtrack and also looked back at the original artwork. I only like the first three games better. Perhaps I'll play the very first game again.

Miscellaneous

Cold Stone Creamery have a lot of creative ice cream flavors and topping mixes. The ice cream is very creamy, but it is hard to resist. I ate "Eleven Heaven" with the combination of strawberry ice cream, graham cracker pie crust, white chocolate chips, strawberries and bananas. That limited edition ice cream is terrific. I even created my own strawberry shortcake ice cream.

I tried out a lot of old music this year. These old music still sound great. The new albums from my favorite musicians are good as well. I'm sure that there will be another music I'm looking for about a year or two.

Big Apple Comic Con in New York made my trip a worthwhile. The convention was fun. The Battlestar Galactica Q&A was so interesting and it's also fun to watch the cast from this show. The costume contest was so exciting. Most of the guest stars we've met are cool and I got my autographed signed. I did say that I'll post more photos, but it seems like it won't happen until sometimes later next year. Overall, this was a very fun trip.

Harry Potter Exhibit in the Museum of Science was fun. The features are so cool. At the end of the exhibit, there were many neat merchandise.

As far as my community college life, it was worth it. The programming language classes were so hard, but I eventually passed these classes. I took art class as well. When I was in that class, I learn a lot about drawing. It's not just about drawing, it's about contract, abstract, and the feelings of what the artists drew. I will miss that class.

Well, these are the positive lists of 2009. I'm sure that something will come up in 2010(I'm not talking about the end of the world or some kind of futuristic stuff!).

Bat For Lashes
Two Suns

Released: April 6, 2009
Natasha Khan finally returned. Her haunting, yet beautiful voice still lives on. Bat For Lashes second album Two Suns have more fantasy feels than a fairy tale theme from her first album Fur and Gold. Most of the tracks in Two Suns sounds like an 1980s music. The first three tracks have a very good start. Moon and Moon is beautiful. Although the songs are not as eerie as Fur and Gold, but the music is quite downbeat and also the songs are still dark. Natasha still tell listeners as story in Siren Song and Pearl's Dream. These two songs are about Natasha's alter ego named Pearl. It's like she sang about her life and her desire. As I said before, Bat For Lashes second album is not as eerie as Fur and Gold, but Natasha wrote a very good songs. Most of the tracks are quite catchy. Even for those who haven't listen to Fur and Gold, the three hit songs may catch listeners' attention. Natasha is still a talented singer. I can't wait when her next album comes out in the future. 4/5

Regina Spektor
Far

Far is one of Regina Spektor's strongest record. As I listened to Far, almost all of the tracks are fun. The songs makes you want to dance more and more even though Regina played piano. Regina have a lot of unique ways of making noises through her voice if you listen to Eet and Folding Chair. Yet, few of her songs are quite emotional such as the last track Man of a Thousand Faces. The lyrics for Far are so very sweet. Even there are few tracks are about machines(start off the first track). Regina is very cute and innocent, but she is a fantastic singer. Her influences are quite interesting. If you thought Begin to Hope is unique Regina Spektor's album, give Far a try. So Far, this is worth listening and also timeless through years. 4.5/5

Beck
One Foot In The Grave [Expanded Edition]

This is not exactly new Beck's album, but One Foot In The Grave came out as worldwide release this year. One Foot In The Grave was released three months after Beck's first studio album Mellow Gold. This is quite different from all Beck's albums because he has a lot of ways of changing musical styles. One Foot In The Grave is the combination of guitar and rock. The guitar he played is wonderful. Beck certainly wrote surreal lyrics. The way Beck sang is very cool. Just so you know, It's All In Your Mind was first written in this record before Sea Change. He did a great job writing the song One Foot In The Grave. It's like Beck has plenty of energy when it comes to singing. This record is good is listen to when anyone wants to look back at Beck's early career. Some of the tracks are almost like storytelling. Beck's career are still going strong, so I wonder what kind of musical style will he have on his next album. Arctic Monkeys
Humbug

Despite the reviews for Humbug, most of the tracks are worth listening and the band are still talented. The lyric for Crying Lighting is unique. Although, Humbug doesn't sound very heavy as Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not neither Favourite Worst Nightmare, but the drum still sounds very strong. There are still good guitar sound. As well as for the bass guitar sound. Alex Turner's singing voice is still identical as his first two albums. However, he is still very good and followed the lyrics carefully. The band made nice use of doing the instrumental for Secret Door. I find the lyric for this song very creative. Pretty Visitors sounds very creepy. I thought Arctic Monkeys first two albums sounds so cool and also very heavy. Humbug is a very good album too. This album will still be timeless to me. Maybe for some of you people as well. 4/5

The Ropes
The Ropes are back, but only three of their EPs came out this year. Be My Gun has only three tracks, yet the songs are excellent. The songs in Clubs In Europe Forever are so amazing. Love is a Chain Store is so emotional and also the songs are tremendous. I'm sure The Ropes will record another full-length album soon.

As Far as the music goes this year, these bands/singers are still terrific. Their lyrics are unique and their music have very good sounds. I'm looking forward to hear more from them anytime soon. I'm currently relistening to The Beatles. Speaking of the Beatles, their albums collection are amazing. The Beatles Rock Band is an excellent game.

To be more precise, the first part is not hit songs for 2009. This part is about what music I listened to this year.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift

Released: October 24, 2006
This is Taylor Swift's self-title debut album. At a very young age, she even wrote wonderful songs before she started her career. When Taylor released her very first album, her debut single came up to the chart and then she became very popular at the age of 16. This album have a very strong start. The lyrics and the sound of the guitar for Tim McGraw is quite good. It is worth listening over most of the typical pop songs. The songs Picture to Burn and Should've Said No are very harsh because these two songs about relationship break up. When she sang these songs, she sounds very angry. Most of the songs are based on teenager's love life. Teardrops on My Guitar focuses on a girl like a guy, but he has no idea that she has a crush on him. Even this song sounds quite gentle. Stay Beautiful is quite catchy. Taylor played her guitar so gently. Yet, sometimes she can play it very fast. Even at 16 years old, she has a very strong voice. This album is worth listening to, even for those who doesn't listen to country music. Keep up the great work, Taylor. 4/5

Taylor Swift
Fearless

Released: November 11, 2008
Taylor Swift has a very strong singing voice when she was a teenager. Her very first album sold a lot about the whole world. Fearless is her second album and is also very successful. Even this has been nominated for 8 Grammy Awards, which it's coming out in February 2010. Now at 20, Taylor still have a very strong and an excellent voice when she sang. Fearless have an amazing love songs, such as Fifteen, Love Story, and You Belong with Me. Love Story is a song based on Romeo and Juliet. This is a song for young lovers in the real world. Taylor did a good job singing this song. She plays the guitar quite well. You Belong with Me is quite upbeat and also sounds quite cheerful. Yet, White Horse is heartbreaking song. It's about a teenage girl trying to adjust after breaking with the guy she couldn't be with anymore. There are some piano music for most tracks in Fearless as well. The piano sounds quite well done with White Horse. Change is a fine end song to the album. Fearless is much as strong as Taylor's first album. Almost all of the tracks in this album have complex lyrics. What a very strong song writer Taylor is. The guitar she played sounds quite complex too. That makes her an wonderful singer. She have many good ideas of writing songs. Taylor, you really outdone all of this yourself. 4.5/5

Bat for Lashes
Fur and Gold

Released: July 31, 2007
Bat for Lashes' very first album Fur and Gold is so amazing. Once I started listening to first tracks in this album, I've gone ahead of myself. This is one of my non-stop listening albums this year. When I listened to Horse and I, I was blown away! The song sounds like a fantasy movie. I really love the harpsichord the singer Natasha Khan was playing. She played that so fast. Almost all the tracks for Fur and Gold sounds so eerie too. What's A Girl to Do is a scary, yet amazing song. It makes me feel like I'm in the dream like world. Some of the tracks are based on relationship, but The Wizard is a fictional song and the instrument sounds so eerie. Once you listen to Prescilla, it is very upbeat. The sounds are combined with guitar and drums. Other than that, it's one of the fairy tale songs. So far, this is one of the best album I ever listen to this year. Fur and Gold is a perfect album for Halloween party too. The beat for Fur and Gold is excellent. Natasha has an incredible singing voice. She's telling us the story as she was singing. Natasha, you're a genius! 5/5

Arctic Monkeys
Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

I finally got to listen to another good alternative rock music. So, I'm happy that I've got to listen Arctic Monkeys. Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not has a very nice hard rock tune and the lead singer Alex Turner sings quite well and also does a wonderful job playing with his instruments. The way his band plays the music sounds quite very hard. That's something I haven't heard much since the Smashing Pumpkins. Everyone plays the music so quickly on The View from the Afternoon and You Probably Couldn't See for the Lights But You Were Staring ... That's something nobody does on their mainstream music today. I really enjoyed Fake Tales of San Francisco because the lyric is quite interesting. Dancing Shoes does make everyone wants to dance. Few of the songs are kind of dark, but truly enjoyable. Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not made a great Arctic Monkeys debut album. For those who missed the alternative heavy rock music, then this is the album for you. 4/5

Arctic Monkeys
Favourite Worst Nightmare

If you thought Arctic Monkey's first album sounded faster, wait till you listen to their second album Favourite Worst Nightmare. Even the frontman Alex Turner sang a lot faster. The more you listen to it, the more you want to dance. Brianstorm is a very good start for a first song in Favourite Worst Nightmare. That song is quite catchy. Fluorescent Adolescent sounds very cheerful, but lyric is very mature. Some of the lyrics are kind of funny. About all the tracks sounded faster, cheerful, and louder except for Only Ones Who Know. Once you listen to that song, it is very sad. It's about people couldn't be with anyone they love. All I can say about Favourite Worst Nightmare was this another best album I ever heard this year. Aside from the good songs in this album, there are popular B-Side songs as well, which I didn't get a chance to listen. Alternative rock music is still alive after all. Arctic Monkeys, you all made an excellent effort. 5/5

Radiohead
In Rainbows

Radiohead was one of the best alternative rock bands in the 1990s. Ever since their high-selling second album The Bends, the band changed their musical styles. Before they recorded In Rainbows, they have their own studio. When I listened to some of their songs In Rainbows, I was so impressed. I love the sound of piano, rock, electronic, and techno. Then I listened to the entire album. The lyrics are so amazing. Some of the songs sounds very sad. The musical style is so interesting too. I wonder if the lead singer Thom Yorke and his bands chose 15 Steps as the opening track for In Rainbows because it's a great start. Nude sounds quite peaceful and also beautiful. Videotape is an wonderful last song. I tried to bonus disc. The tracks in that are quite interesting. Thom is an tremendous singer and also a wonderful musician. When he sings, he has plenty of emotions, especially in Karma Police from OK Computer. Keep up the good work Mr. Yorke! I have listened to many classic Radiohead hit songs. These hit songs still sounds good and also beautiful. Now that I listened to In Rainbows, the album is different. I really love how In Rainbows sounds. Whether everyone listen to Radiohead or not, I recommend them to try In Rainbows out. 5/5

The Ropes
What They Do For Fun

The Ropes are the indie bands. They did not received a lot of attentions, but these duo band are excellent. Sharon Shy and Toppy are the terrific musicians and wrote fantastic lyrics. Most of their music are all about relationships. They also want to get revenge on the bullies. When I first listen to one of their songs in their full length album What They Do For Fun, their music video caught my eyes. It's not only their music video got me to listen to them, it's their amazing music. The lead singer Sharon Shy have the most incredible singer voice. She played her guitar pass so well. The Multi-instrumentalist Toppy sure made a terrific sounds. He is an interesting backup singer as well. The song Flimsy is very sad and haunting, but beautiful. I just can't stop listening to that song. Cry to the Beat is a very interesting track. Let On has gotten to me since I listen to the song at first. In fact, it was the very first The Ropes song I ever listened to. It is a very sad song. When you listen to Water and Headphones, that's what the album is all about. The Ropes may not be the mainstream band, but What They Do For Fun is on the ABC News 50 Best Albums of 2008. I listened to most of their songs in their EP albums. Even their songs in EP are great. Ms. Shy and Mr. Toppy, thank you very much for the tremendous and sophisticated music. Good luck with your next album! 5/5

Coldplay
All I can say about this band was Viva La Vida is an amazing song. Violet Hill is quite catchy. I have to admit: their music videos are impressive.

Lovin' Spoonful
Ever since I listened Summer in the City, that song was always in my head. Now, I finally got to listened to that catchy song again. This is good song for summer time. Now I can recognized Do You Believe in Magic. I tried some of their songs and they sounded kind of fun.

Adele
Adele is an great singer. When she sang Chasing Pavements, it sounds like she's in pain. Chasing Pavements is about the end of the relationship. It's beautiful, but it's very sad. A lot people can relate to this problem.

The Wallflowers
I bought their Collected album in the summer. I finally got to listen to Eat You Sleeping. It's a very good song. I wonder how they're doing right now.

These are about the music I heard this year. The music sounded amazing and also very catchy. Music 2009 Part 2 will be coming up very soon.

Mysteries, suspense thrillers, fantasies, science fictions, and love stories are what got readers interested in reading novels and they couldn't put them down. However, even a well-received book alienate readers as they couldn't go any further into a story. A well-received book I read 5 months ago is Wintergirls. Enter Lia, the main character who got into an eating disorder and she's unable to relax. She and her best friend made promises to each other to be the most skinniest girls in the world. Yet, this would lead them to near-death. Will Lia survive through her inner demons within herself? Wintergirls focuses on Lia's problems with her life, which really hurts her family and everyone around her. With food everywhere around her, she's afraid to take any bite of them, so that she will become skinnier. Yes, this book is about anorexia, but it also focuses on getting life back all together. When I read the book, I found it very realistic. There could be many people in this world could relate to Lia's problem. I won't get into detail so much, but Ms. Anderson's writing is so strong. This is a very good story. What Ms. Anderson really wrote in this book is quite creative, which it's scary and very disturbing too. Wintergirls contain warnings as well. Ironically, I'm so glad that I read anything so realistic like this book because I want to see what else that the world we live in have. For those who wants to know what it's like losing weight and what depression feels like, try this book out. Unless you're not strong enough. 5/5

Only 4-5 weeks of school left. When final comes, I will do my very best. The Mega Man X series has always been my guilty pleasure all my life and most of the animal robots looked so terrible, but it came to back to my mind because I remembered how much fun I have with most of the games. Where the Wild Things Are

I love Maurice Sendak and his style of children's book. When I was in pre-school summer camp, the Counselor read Where the Wild Things Are to the young campers and I. It was very exciting. Mr. Sendak's style was very well done. When I watched the live action movie, all I can say about this movie is amazing. Max is a mischievous young boy who caused a lot of trouble at home and wasn't able to eat his supper. After that he has gone to the forest where he befriends with the creatures. The director Spike Jonze(Being John Malkovich, Adaptation) and Maurice Sendak outdone themselves. Where the Wild Things Are have an excellent special effects. Especially with the characters because they are very well-developed. If anybody think that this is a kids movie, be sure to take your kids with you because they are some scary moments. This movie is not like any of the cliches children's movie. You really did it, Mr. Jones. And Mr. Sendak, thank you for agreeing with Mr. Jonze to do the movie! I recommend the audience to see this film and nobody would want to miss! 5/5

So Tekken 6 came out like few weeks ago. I haven't play the game yet and I only watched my brother played, but I must say I'm very disappointed. Despite the positive reviews, the game have a lot of flaws than the very first Tekken. The music is terrible, the final boss is way too cheap, and most of the endings are so horrible. The only ending that is not horrible in this game are the King characters. I haven't seen Yoshimitsu ending yet, but I just hope his ending won't be that disappointing. Speaking of Yoshimitsu, he's always been my favorite character. His combo moves are so cool. He is a very strong fighter. Plus, I love how he have many forms in every Tekken games. He is also very fun to play with in Soul Calibur. Here's Yoshimitsu's Tekken 2 ending below. This is a very cool ending. I don't mean to be picky on endings, but even Tekken 2 doesn't have silly endings like Tekken 4-6.

Hello everyone. Before I post some entries, I have an announcement to make; I will not post many entries in my surrealism blog anymore, but I will keep the blog. The duo bands Savage Garden and The Ropes are not surrealism. The reason why I post their music and lyrics because the way their music videos were made and they are quite the work of art. Their videos are not like the musicians today. That made me think that they are surreal, but I realized that they are not. Mine by Savage Garden is not surreal as I finally understand what the song is really about. The Ropes are not surreal. In fact their music is all about fighting off the bullies. The only surrealist musicians I ever heard are Beck and Bjork. The only surrealist artist I only post on the surrealism blog is Yelena Yemchuk. I will post some surrealism videos, pictures, poems, and some biographies on The Patchwork Jessica of Oz from now on. See you later.

Drag Me to Hell

If you like Army of Darkness or anything scary, Drag Me to Hell is a film for you. Enter Christine Brown(Alison Lohman), everything was so great for her. A very supportive and caring boyfriend Clay Dalton(Justin Long). An accountant job that she can handle. She can do about anything. One day however, Christine was asked to make a tough decision by her accountant boss in order to become an assistance manager. During that day on her job, a poor elderly lady asked her to make an extension loan. However, Christine denies this and then the elderly lady keep begging her until Christine accidentally pushed her. In the end of the day, Christine was attacked and then she was cursed. When she was cursed, she only has three days to live. Will Christine overcome this and survive? Drag Me to Hell is pretty good and a fun film to watch. The special events are good and there are a lot of jumpy scenes. The characters are pretty decent, but I think Christine is so beautiful and her boyfriend is always there for her. There are some characters that I want them to go away. Even there are part of goofy scenes too. Although there are cliches and the story are a bit typical in this film, this does really surpass about most cheesey horror films I watched. It was PG-13 when it came out in the theater, but this does have most scary parts. There were gruesome scenes too. Don't watch this movie if you have a weak heart. Nevertheless, Drag Me to Hell is a fun movie for those who wants to watch a decent horror films. This is a good Halloween movie too. 3.5/5.

Big Apple Comic Con

Sorry for not posting so long. I've been so busy lately that I didn't have to time to be on my blog. I'll post even more exciting stuff here for sure! On Friday I went to New York with my brothers and our friend. There was a Big Apple Comic Con Convention. It's a big place where you buy comics, action figures, few stuff animals, big figurine, and tons of different neat merchandises. Plus there were guest star and comic book artists. There were special events such as the TV shows and movies Q&A and movie screening. When my brothers, our friend and I gone in, we looked around and met few of the guest stars. They are very nice and also cool people. Yet, not all of them have time for their fans. We only met the ones we knew. There was Trick r Treat screening on Friday night, but we only watched the last 30 minutes of the movie. We went to the Battlestar Galactica Q&A on Saturday afternoon, which it's fun to see and also listen. I went to see the costume contest with my brothers and our friend. Their costumes are very neat and nicely designed. Iceman is so very talented and entertaining! As well as Goblin King with Batman and Robin. For those who won the contest got cool prizes. On Sunday was last day for the convention in New York and also our last day for the trip. We went to look around at the celebrities booth to get our autograph and also get our picture taken. We thanked the stars for the autograph we've got. That was most interesting and a wonderful weekened we ever have. We were home with our autographs, photos, and with our merchandises! I'll post some photos soon.

The summer course I'm taking sure is hard. Even though it's June, the weather kinda feels like spring. It's raining right now. I saw the movies UP and Land of the Lost recently. UP is a fantastic movie and the characters are great. I love the way the movie designs! I can't wait for the DVD. About Land of the Lost, I have nothing to say. If anyone wants to see that movie, I won't stop you. Well, it's getting late. I should be going to bed soon. I'll give more and more interesting details whenever I'm not busy. Goodnight!

Hi everyone! Long time no see. It's been like a month since I ever post anything on this blog. A lot of things have happened to me. Well anyway, my course has been canceled due to low enrollment and now I'm in the another course. On the positive side, I got into Taylor Swift music because I watched the Grammy Award on Sunday. I'm not really into country music, but Taylor Swift is amazing! When I listened to her first two albums, her voice is so strong and I found her songs and her lyrics so interesting because her music is almost about everyday life. As well as real life teenage girl's life. I'm looking forward to her future album. Now, there could more today's music I want to listen to.
